It’s Party Time!

Happy Birthday to Eli!
Today we had the END of our first birthday parties. We celebrated our youngest, and final, son’s first birthday with a party centered around his monogram. As his name is Eli Noel Desrochers, END is intentionally his initials.
Eli is our fourth son, and we have had pretty much every kind of first birthday party for little boys out there. So I did lots of googling and such and found some ideas I enjoyed. So off to Michael’s I went and got myself some scrapbook paper, double stick tape and a couple of spools of ribbon. Take a gander at what I created…I am rather proud!

As I am a bit of an amatuer cake decorator as well (have you checked here?) here is Eli’s cupcake tower…
And here are the monogrammed cookies that were the giveaways in the the goodie bags…
Here are the final results all together in the outdoor tent.

I had such a great time making everything I am trying to come up with more things to make these for! I think in another life I would be a party planner. Look for a lot more pictures of the party this week, including amazing shots of little Eli and his smash cake!

In the meantime, this is a family friend modeling one of the hats I made, isn’t she absolutely precious!
