Cheap & Easy Super Bowl Party Decorations

This weekend we are having a Super Bowl party at our house for our youth group.  I came up with a few easy decorating ideas for the big game that don’t break the bank.

I made a no-sew runner for the food table out of green and white felt.  I purchased half of a yard of felt off of the bolt at my local craft store.  It was $1.99.  If they take their time cutting it, you don’t even need to do any cutting yourself!  I used the entire length as is for the runner.  I also used two sheets of white felt, coming to $.98.

The rest just takes time, scissors, a ruler and hot glue.  I cut out the strips, laid them all out on the green felt and then glued away.

For a small focal point on the table I used a vase I already had (from the dollar store!) and added a package of football themed easter eggs I purchased this week at the Dollar Tree.  I left two on scattered on the runner as accents.

Finally, just using tape I tacked the felt football garland I made to the front.  Want to see the tutorial on this project?  Hop over to MyPartySwap and check out the post I did there.

My final find is great fun for a Super Bowl party.  I purchased these eye black stickers at Walmart in the sporting goods section for just under $5.

There are twenty sets in there and the white pencil allows for you to personalize them.  I think they are going to be great fun!

Gabriel looked rugged enough to model these today.  That nose is courtesy of a snowball fight yesterday that included more ice chunk than fluffy white stuff!
