The 2012 Wilton Yearbook

One of the amazing things that I got to do while at the Wilton Mom reTreat was to see the new 2012 Wilton Yearbook.  The yearbook will not be released until later this month, and it was a privilege to be walked through the 107 pages of designs by Senior Art Director/Cake Designer Steve Rocco.

I can only attempt to describe the awe I was in.  The Yearbook is jam packed with bright, fun colors, creative ideas and unique uses of  Wilton products.  And to have been able to listen to Steve Rocco explain the inspirations and thought process that went into these hundreds of designs was awesome.

If you haven’t seen the cover of the 2012 Wilton Yearbook you are in for a treat, literally!  The Sweet Treat Tiers cake is featured on the front and it is an eye-catching array of delectable candies, cupcakes, lollipops and more.  I love the creative use of iconic sweets that appeal to everyone!

How fabulous are these ice cream cones in between the first and second tiers?
Topped with the oversized cupcake everybody loves!

I walked away inspired.  I am excited to try some new techniques and recipes.  I also have to say, after seeing some fabulously fun cakes that my boyz will enjoy, I am going to have to purchase the 3 piece Paisley Bakeware Set.  Trust me, there are some great ideas that utilize those pans.  Paisley pans aren’t just for grownups!

I hope you are excited to pick up the 2012 Wilton Yearbook later this month.  Did you know that the Yearbook contains great ideas and detailed instructions, but also tons of recipes, how-to’s and even the full 2012 product shops of all of the Wilton products?  A must have resource.

There is always inspiration to be found in the 2012 Wilton Yearbook, and I am loving my personal  advance copy, signed by Steve Rocco.  I can’t wait for you to pick one up so we can talk more about it!

I loved visiting Wilton for another Mom reTreat with Jennifer of Mom Spotted, Emilee from Baby Loving Mama, Shannon of The Mommy Files and Tanya from Mommy Goggles.
My trip was paid for by Wilton.  All opinions expressed are my own.
