We went on the Deck The Halls Wine Tour on Seneca Lake courtesy of the Finger Lakes Visitors Connection a few weeks ago.  I shared about and the people we met on the wine trail  Today I want to show you the Wine Themed holiday décor we came across along the way.

One thing that a winery has an excess of?  Wine bottles!  Why not build a holiday tree out of wine bottles?  This one was had the bottles sitting on tiers, kind of like a cupcake tower.

Then there was this one made using a giant version of the vintage mug racks.  I especially loved the way the sunlight streaming through the different colored bottles looked.

Then I saw an idea straight off of a Pinterest board, hand painted bottles filled with Christmas lights.

The other thing in abundance at a winery?  Grapevines, of course!  Check out this monsterous grapevine wreath intertwined with twinkle lights and a vintage Santa at the center.

This is about a four foot tree built entirely out of grapevines and then decorated with lights and ornaments like a traditional tree.  Of course, the table with a wine barrel base.

And finally, a simpler version that would be at home in the corner of anyone’s home.  I love the rustic feel!

Disclosure:  We were the guests of the Finger Lakes Visitors Connection.  We received hotel accommodations, some food and tickets to participate in the wine trail without charge for the purposes of this review.  All opinions and experiences expressed are my own.

  1. I bet this was an amazing trip. I can’t even get in my mind where the finger lakes are. I’ve been pretty limited on my travels. I would’ve loved the wine tours!!!!
