Town of Liberty Holiday Parade

Town of Liberty Holiday ParadeTown of Liberty Holiday ParadeLast Friday was our town’s third annual holiday parade.  The weather was less than ideal, it poured and then sleeted for the the duration.  Even Santa had an umbrella…

This one was my favorite, his sign reads “all I want for Christmas is the skate park!”.  It was done by youth looking forward to completion of our new town skate park that began construction this spring.  I loved Santa skateboarding down Main Street!

My favorite float was the last one.  This is the Jingle Bell Rock float made by the family of Eli’s best friend.

The tree was quickly lit as the weather turned uglier and the crowd dispersed to the comfort of their warm cars and then houses.  But for a few moments, despite the weather, it was great to be a part of our community this holiday season.
