St Patrick’s Day Straw Wreath
I was at Target and the dreaded dollar section got me again! I saw these paper straws there and had to pick some up!A little over a year ago straw wreaths were all the rage for Christmas, and although I had never made one this screamed spring to me! I took out a wreath form I had picked up awhile ago in a craft store (just mdf that I spray painted white).
I hot glued the green straws around the form. I alternated between full length straws and ones that I cut at 3/4 length. For the second layer I used the orange polka dot straws cut at 1/2 and 1/4 lengths.
Then I took out my brand spankin new Cricut Explore. Yep, super lucky owner of this new tool! It’s available in stores tomorrow, I picked mine up early from HSN. Using the new design software I created all three icons in a matter of minutes using scrap paper. Better yet, they were all free with my subscription!
I attached all of the St Patrick’s Day themed die cuts with repositionable adhesive, so I am hoping to switch out those for Easter themed ones soon! Two for one!
