I am incredibly excited to announce that I have been asked to be a part of the brand new Wilton Treat Team!  I’ll be teaming up with Wilton once again, this time for the remainder of 2014 as part of this new team bringing you ideas for treats, cake decorating and more using the wide array of Wilton products!

As part of the new Wilton Treat Team we will be receiving quarterly mailers filled with lots of Wilton products.  I received my first one just a little bit ago, and I really enjoyed looking at new products I have never tried!

I saw this great Wilton Silicone Shamrock Mini Treat Mold and Nonpareils and I had a brainstorm for a quick last minute St Patrick’s Day themed dessert that is done in minutes!

Simple Shamrock SundaesThese were super simple to make!  I let the ice cream sit out for a few minutes to soften it a touch.  Then using a spoon I just pressed and packed it into the silicone mold.

Simple Shamrock SundaesI let them sit in the freezer overnight.  When it was time for dessert I took them out of the mold.  You can either let them sit a room temperature for a few minutes, or place in a shallow pan with warm water for a few seconds to make removing them easier.

Here is my mint chocolate chip shamrock.

I added just a tad of chocolate syrup and then covered in the Wilton Nonpareils.

It made for a tasty St. Patrick’s themed dessert and took about five minutes to make!

I’m looking forward to bringing you lots of posts featuring my favorite Wilton products, both old and new, this year!
