Nintendo 2DS & 3DS Showcase; Tomodachi Life, Kirby Triple Deluxe & Mario Golf: World Tour
I’ve received promotional copies as compensation for coverage, no other compensation was received. As always, all opinions and experiences expressed are my own.
Last weekend all four boyz and I headed to the Nintendo flagship store in Manhattan to a attend the Nintendo 2DS & 3DS showcase. The boyz were incredibly excited to check out three of the Nintendo’s upcoming releases for their handheld gaming systems.
They spent the morning lounging in bean bag chairs trying out Kirby Triple Deluxe, Mario Golf: World Tour and Tomodachi Life.
The biggest news in this new game in the Mario Golf franchise is the use of special power ups. These help to create fun game play and let you get the shot in some very entertaining ways. Tomodachi Life just hit stores on May 2nd!
Long time Kirby fans, the boyz were excited to try the new Kirby Triple Deluxe . They loved the sucking power of Kirby, and also that Kirby can now suck up game elements, including trees and other landscape items. The younger two boyz kept gravitating back to this game throughout the morning and are excited for the May 16th release.
Their overwhelming favorite, the one they are absolutely dying to get their hands on, is Tomodachi Life . Tomodachi (meaning friend in Japanese) is a unique game where your Miis come to life and interact with each other in a virtual world. This even includes giving a voice to your Mii, an incredibly popular concept with my guys. They literally discussed aspects of this game all of the way home. This game comes out in early June and they can’t wait!
