Camelbeach Waterpark–A Family Review

Camelbeach Waterpark–A Family Review

We were guests of Camelbeach and as such our visit was provided for purposes of this view.  We also received lodging and meals as part of the experience. As always, all opinions and views expressed are solely my own.

We headed to the Pocono Mountains in June to visit Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark as a family.  This was our first trip, and we found a clean, well kept waterpark our whole family could enjoy!

Above, we are standing in front of a large Camel Kids feature called Pharoah’s Phortress.  The boyz loved the Egyptian type theme throughout the park, but especially in this area with pyramid tops and Sphinx bucket!

The park features easy to use signs for measuring and determining whether or not you can ride a slide.  This was convenient and helped squash any “am I tall enough” whining throughout the day.

Here is a view of the inflatable tube rides from the Sullivan Sky Ride, which takes you to the top of the mountain with some breathtaking views.

Camelbeach, Camelbeach Mountain WaterparkOne of the rides my older guys loved was the Flow Rider.  It was something they had never tried before, and at no extra charge they went for the experience!

I love how the instructors are right in front of you and use a microphone (so you can hear over the rushing water) to teach you how to ride, and even how to do tricks!  Here is Daddy D balancing on the board with his knees.

Camelbeach, Camelbeach Mountain WaterparkAs guests of Camelbeach, we were given a Pharoah’s Phortress Cabana for us to use.  There are only 20 located there, and are available on a first come, first serve basis but can be reserved online.  They come with complimentary keyed locker, a fruit basket in the morning and an assortment of fresh cookies & brownies in the afternoon.  We loved having a home base of sorts, and a place to relax, eat and regroup together.

Camelbeach, Camelbeach Mountain WaterparkThis was Sam who served our meals and helped us out throughout the day in our cabana.  By the end of the day she knew so much about our boys and family and had been a pleasure to have as part of our experience.

Camelbeach, Camelbeach Mountain WaterparkAt the end of the day, after we had rode lots of slides and enjoyed the wave pool, lazy river and more, we were exhausted as we headed back to our hotel.  We loved all that Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark had to offer!

Tomorrow I’m going to share with you more about our trip, especially about the CBK Adventures-something you definitely don’t want to miss!
